So Sweet...

This last sunday (Father's Day) Ty and I had the oppurtunity to go to EIRMC (Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center) to get an ultra-sound. Luckily Tyler's mom is a Labor and Delivery Nurse there and was able to sneak us in to see if we could find out what we're having. But of course, the dang cord was in the way! But it was SO neat to see the baby moving and all. And we got a good pic of it's profile. Good lookin so far! The baby was sucking it's thumb!! It was SO cute and crazy that you could see it actually sucking! It definitely took after it's momma on that one. My parents said I was sucking my thumb in my ultra-sound too. Not to mention I sucked my thumb until the 5th grade. And immediately stopped once the dentist cemented spikes to my back mulars. Definitely a fun horrible habit to break let me tell ya. But it was SO neat to witness that! I am now 17 wks along and feeling great. Maybe my mother-n-law can sneak us in again this sunday? Eventhough we didn't find out what it is, still so comforting to know that our baby was doing great, healthy, and had all it's ligaments. Ty thinks it's a boy. I think it's a girl. But we'll find out at our next doctor's app in 3 wks if not before! Can't wait to know!!! Ta Ta for now...

We went to my doc's app this past weds for my 4 wk check-up. I was so glad Ty was able to be there. He's been working crazy hours lately and not able to go to the previous 2. So anyways, Ty was SO excited when he heard the heart beat. It was neat! But I have to go in in a couple wks for more blood work (which disgusts me like nothing else) because last time the results showed that the thyriod part was off. And to make sure there's no complications with the baby. Lucky me! And I was hoping to hint what I was having but of course they didn't take me in the ultra-sound room this time! And since I went in this time at 14 wks and they like to do the ultra-sound at 20 wks to find out the sex of the child... Yes, I have to wait 6 MORE killer weeks! Am I happy? Not really. I just want to know already! It's killing me!!!
