Doctors Appointment
Well, Ty and I went to the doctor to see what was wrong with me. I have the most painful menstral cycles and I've been having a hard time getting pregnant. And I wanted to get checked to see if I was ok. And the fact that my older sister, Kara, has ovarian cancer makes it that much more important that I get checked. So with that being said we found out that I have 'endometriosis'. Meaning I still can get pregnant but it'll be more difficult. And getting pregnant will help it go away but if I can't get pregnant because I have this then obviously it makes things more difficult. So, he gave me 3 options:
-Get on birth control which would help it go away but it would prevent me from getting pregnant.
-Take a shot that would trick my body into thinking I'm pregnant so it would go away.
-Or get surgery to remove it.
So with some thinking we decided to give the shots a try. As much as I dislike shots it'll definitely be worth it if it works. And if that doesn't work we'll then do surgery. And looks like invetro if nothing else works. I know that I'm supposed to be a mother and I will not give up. Even during these trying times. And I know that things will get better. They always do, right? And I feel so relieved to finally know what's been wrong. And to know that it's not Ty. I feel I am a very blessed girl and I know it will all work out!

Can I be turning into my Mother?
I went to church today and balled my eyes out in Relief Society! No real reason, at first, just singing a Christmas song that I couldn't even see because my eyeballs were full of water. And then they had a few ladies bare their testimonies. And I know you all have those women in your wards that you know as soon as they get up there you'll lose it. And sure enough, they all bore their testimonies and Liz totally lost it! And for all of you that really know my mom knows that she is just so sweet and has a teaching gift, I swear! She taught lessons in Young Womens and she didn't even get close to being finished before she lost it. But I remember the girls not ever talking while she taught (hence the teaching gift). I remember always telling my mom before the lessons she'd give if she'd please not cry this time because I thought it was so embarrassing. But she always got the point across and always did such a good job. But I couldn't help but reflect back on all those times my mom would cry teaching her lessons, at the movies, or for NO apparent reason what so ever! Man do I cry at church, movies, and well... EVEN for no apparent reason what so ever! haha... Well, I came to the conclusion that I am turning into my Mother! Lesson to be learned- what goes around, comes around?? My mom always said that and sure enough she's right! haha... LOVE YOU MOM!!!

Elder Trevor John Schroeder!!!!!!
It's official!!! We had a couple busy weeks with Thanksgiving, family, Trev's farewell, Trev getting set apart, taking him to the M.T.C.!!! I wouldn't have it any other way! He was so ready and excited to go. He'll be missed by many and loved by all! He is such an amazing young man and I'm honored to be an older sibling to such a person as him. He's going to be such an awesome missionary and I couldn't be happier for him. I had the opportunity to go w/ him to the Missionary Training Center in Provo. What an experience that was! The spirit spoke so strongly there. Singing 'Called to Serve' with all the new missionaries and their families was just amazing! The whole thing was great minus saying goodbye at the end. But it's very comforting to know that he'll be serving the Lord and he'll be in good hands. Trevor will be leaving the M.T.C. just before Christmas so we're hoping to be able to get our first phone call! Well, hope you enjoy the pics!
P.S. Trev's leaving, his girlfriend, Hailey. And there's a few shots of them shaking hands after he got set apart since he can't hug any female that is not related to him. So we hugged her for him! Not the same I know! haha...
